MEET THE ARTIST
Laurie Svec
Laurie Svec has been painting and drawing from the age of 13. She has an Associate Degree in commercial art after being a student at OSU, Houston Community College, and Texas Communtiy College. She has shown and sold her art in many venues and taken many art workshops. A few of her former organizations were: Watercolor Society Houston, Women’s Caucus for Arts, Women In Visual and Literary Arts. She has shown and sold art in the Washington County studio tour, ArtSplash in Tualatin, Tigard Art Walk, King City Art Guild, and has had a few solo art shows. Presently, Laurie is teaching watercolor to residents at King City Senior Village and a few private students. Laurie’s love of painting has kept her experimenting with many media and enjoying the creative process.
